Сегодня должен состояться пуск РН Ariane 5 с тремя спутниками на борту, включая один телекоммуникационный. Жители западного пулушария смогут посмотреть прямую трансляцию через спутник. Остальные - прямую интернет - трансляцию на сайте Arianespace.

The AMC-18 campaign is in its final days of preparation for launch on Friday, 8 December 2006. The launch window opens at 17:08 and closes at 17:51 EST (5:08 to 5:51 p.m. EST; 22:08 to 22:51 GMT). An Ariane 5 ECA rocket will launch both AMC-18 and "co-passenger" WildBlue-1 into geosynchronous transfer orbit from Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. The launch will be broadcast live in North America beginning at 4:45 p.m. (21:45 GMT):
